just keep swimming

An allegory of 21st century life, on the site hoarding of a new hotel development in Oban, Argyll, Scotland.  That happy fish going against the flow has clearly attracted the attention of the authorities …. 😉 Mural 35×2.5m Commissioned by Ee-usk

oban and all that jazz

oban and all that jazz

If Matisse had come to Oban … Oban and its harbour is enclosed by wooded hills, crowned by McCaig’s Tower.  Late in his career Matisse made collages from cut-out painted paper: drawing with scissors.  This screenprint was made using paper-cut stencils, inspired by Les Codomas from Matisse’s book Jazz. Screenprint 50x60cm Edition: 5 £100
